Nevin Harrison – Back-to-back World Cup Gold Medals
This past weekend Nevin Harrison competed at the ICF Canoe Sprint World Cup in Szeged, Hungary, where she won the gold medal in the C-1 200m race.
After winning a C-1 200m gold medal in Szeged at the World Championships in 2019, Harrison returned in 2020 to secure another C-1 200m gold medal at the World Cup. In the spirit of consistency, Nevin returned a third time on May 15, 2021 and defended her World Cup title with a time of 47.59 seconds.
Nevin continues to stake her claim in the Canoe Sprint world as a force to be reckoned with and, at 19 years old, she has her eyes set on gold for many years to come. Keep killing it, Nevin! Your hard work and dedication is paying off, and we are so proud of you!
