Even Weather Delays Don’t Stop Superheroes From Winning at LAAX Open 2016

The LAAX Open, home of one of the biggest snowboard-friendly resorts and the biggest, longest halfpipe in the world, allowed our superheroes to come out and kill the creative course. The purse prize of $500,000 made the stakes high, and had everyone bringing their “A” game. With some weather delays in the beginning of the week, the sun came out on the final day and we were able to watch all the riders drop in. Tyler Nicholson took the silver medal with a score of 84.35. While Seb Toots blasted his way into third place with a 83.10. Darcy qualified first in his group, and ended up in fourth place with an 82.30. For the women, Christy showed us why she is the best, with a silver medal and a score of 71.80.
