Just 18 years old, Sean Pettit has already achieved more than many top pro skiers ever do: opening and closing segments in MSP, backcountry trips with legends like Tanner Hall and Seth Morrison, winning Powder and IF3 awards, a Freeskier magazine interview, Ski Canada magazine cover, lucrative sponsorships from world-class companies, appearances on robust national television programs, multiple championships at international freeski competitions and more.

But its quite possible that landing the cover of the Feb 2011 Powder Magazine is as special as any of those.

“I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw that. I remember the day and the shot and knew Blake had it nailed. Then seeing it was just…incredible. I found out from someone on Facebook, too. That’s just how Powder does it and its so cool. They don’t leak it to you. They just put it out there and let you find out for yourself. Damn, I’m stoked.” offers Pettit.

Yeah, and who wouldn’t be?
