Bobby Brown is a Red Bull Athlete

Santa Monica, CA – May 25, 2010 – Superheroes Management is pleased to announce that client Bobby Brown has signed a multi-year agreement with Red Bull Energy Drink as an exclusive beverage and energy product sponsor.

Bobby Brown notably made history this year as a young superstar who became the first freeskier ever to win dual X-Games Gold medals. The golds came in Ski Big Air and Slopestyle.

Brown joins a roster of all-time freeski talent that includes, among many others, Tanner Hall, Simon Dumont, Jon Olsson, Sean Pettit, Chris Davenport and the late legend Shane McConkey.

The opportunity to represent Red Bull is not lost on Denver-area native Brown, who says, “I couldn’t be happier about this opportunity. Red Bull represents so much to my sport and lifestyle. Not many people are given the chance to wear a helmet like this one, so it definitely means the world to me.”

For Red Bull, the partnership with 18-year old Brown is also an exceptional fit. “Freeskiing has always been a pillar of our Sports Marketing platform here at Red Bull, therefore we see Bobby being a major role-player for us for many years to come – both as an athlete and brand ambassador” says Sebestian Paradis, Red Bull’s Director of Athlete Marketing. “Bobby has the talent and attitude to go all the way to the top, and he also uses our product. So for us, he represents the future of the sport.”

Beyond the iconic silver and blue Red Bull helmet and financial rewards, Brown looks forward to several other benefits from his new sponsor: world-class performance management training, a global network of local expert staff, and the chance to realize the special “dream” projects that Red Bull has made possible for several of its top international athletes in the past.

Red Bull joins a group of top industry sponsors in their support of Bobby Brown including Under Armour outerwear and apparel, Salomon Skis and hardgoods, Smith Optics, and Dakine.
